Mainsaver 11.5 Releases

Mainsaver continues to provide customer originated enhancements with the release of version 11.5. Customers may obtain the 11.5 install image from the Customer Support website and request a new serial number from the Helpdesk (1-800-467-6270).

Retaining the classic Mainsaver look and feel, new features include;

Renaming tools are now in the System Administration module and include new tools for renaming employee ID, Suppliers and Stock Numbers.

Windows authentication allows SQL server users to setup Windows groups on the SQL server instead of individual SQL accounts. Upon login to the Mainsaver client software, Mainsaver will inherit the login ID and password from the current Windows user.

Security on global queries will prevent selected user groups from creating and deleting global queries.

View only options for key records grants selected users the ability to view certain data but not change those records.

Enhanced project budgeting and cost tracking allows users to group work orders by project ID and report on project costs.

Additional asset hierarchy navigation capability allows users to default asset and work order module views to a specific hierarchy query.

Web Based Releases

Complimenting the existing WebMainsaver product, two new browser based products are available for customers wanting the convenience of true zero footprint applications. Both products allow for an unlimited number of concurrent users.

Web Reports 11.5


This web based reporting tool allows enterprise wide reporting on the Mainsaver database. Working with Mainsaver Professional Services, customers may deploy a standard set of KPI reports or develop customer specific reports using Infomaker. Web Reports 11.5 allows users to query on any data elements in the report in order to drill down into more detail or perform ‘what if’ scenarios.

Customers with an existing Infomaker library will be able to deploy these reports over the web.

Web Shop Floor 11.5

Web Shop Floor puts the real time work flow management features of the classic client based Shop Floor module into a web based solution. Users will be able to view work queues and log on to assigned work orders. Timecards are computed based on elapsed time on the work order however trades people may add additional time as needed.
