Paper Recyler Weig Karton rates Mainsaver Software
at 94.7% of total plant maintenance coverage
San Diego CA and Mayen, Germany (January 31, 2007) Mainsaver today announced initial results of it’s newest major installation, Weig-Karton, one of the worllds largest producers of of paper products from recycled material. Initial installtion results show positive trends in:
- Decreased time adding and changing assets into the CMMS database
- Increased vision into project costs
- Shortened time locating replacement parts
- Improved visibility into external service and parts contracts
- Flexibility and time cycle reduction to generate purchase order requests
- Better work management through assignment and termination of work order functionality
The Mainsaver CMMS product supports the entire Weig – Karton campus, wihich includes 3 paper mills, 1 power generation plant and 1 waste water plant. In support of the CMMS function, Mainsaver software is directly linked with the Weig accounting department’s software system, Diamant Accounting, and supports invoice matching, ranging from raw materilas to finished goods.
Mainsaver operates 24 x 7 at the plants, and produces reports by shift, day and other management required information. Common reports include production statistics and trouble log information.
