Unisea uses Mainsaver to manage maintenance
operations in Aleutian Sea

"Maintenance is an important business when parts lead time is 2 weeks and an emergency shutdown can spoil 50,000 lbs of Crab!"

San Diego, CA, May 10, 2007 – Mainsaver today announced the signing of a project agreement with Unisea to provide an interface between Mainsaver, Navision and the current Warehouse Management System (WMS). At Unisea, the maintenance organization will utilize Mainsaver for all maintenance-related activities, including work orders, preventive maintenance, and materials planning. The WMS will be utilized for recording all maintenance material items transactions. Purchasing will be done in Navision.

From a business context the functionality of the new interface is to reduce redundancy and allow a seamless flow of information between Mainsaver, Navision and the WMS. Utilization of the Mainsaver Materials and Purchasing Modules will facilitate exporting of accurate G/L data to Navision. Currently much of the interface is external to Mainsaver core system as it is handled through Imports and Exports through Microsoft SQL Server tables.

The interface is currently schedule for “go live” in early June 2007.
